November 20, 2017: Trust

Do not trust more than you are able, but strive to be more able. Hoo-nōs

It is difficult to trust when one is unsure. That’s a default condition. Just look at how wildlife approaches it.

It seems to me those who advocate “trust me” as opposed to others, are spinning tales. They want control/influence. They want to wrangle trust instead of promoting integrity.

Trust, yes. Listen, yes. Believe, maybe. Strive to get it right, absolutely. It’s easier when there is more than one “blind person” accurately describing the elephant, but accuracy is related to real ability, as opposed to simply saying and doing things others want to hear and see. Mostly, go for improved ability and tread cautiously when one is out of their league.
