May 1, 2016: Distance

Empathy is not concern for others, it is the art of being an other without getting lost in the transitions. Hoo-nōs

There are those who “love” and “care” born of a hurt they don’t want others to experience. I’m guessing (and I mean it) that “God” does not love and care in such a manner. If one “loves” in this way, there will be unnecessary resentment and distance instead of understanding and empathy.

What if we could empathize with “God”? Would we learn something about “God” instead of expecting something? Would there be a tad more love and a tad less hurt? Would there be such a distance between our real selves, others, and “God”?

I do not know. I am just wondering, though for some reason or the other I seem to feel the caterpillar as well as lucky.
